Three Graces London: Resort 2020
Taking inspiration from Ibiza’s free-spirited cast of beatniks, artists and musicians, our new collection pays homage to the island’s famed bohemian charisma.
An infectious feeling of liberation flows through the designs. Silhouettes toy with volume, seeming to beckon a summer’s breeze. Bell sleeves, balletic shapes and tiered hems swish and sway, whilst lightweight Italian Ramie has been expertly smocked and pleated to create sculptural shadows.
Floor-sweeping trousers cut from swathes of silk with split hems help to impart a sense of nomadic freedom.
Colours are drawn from the sun-ripened landscapes of the Balearics, with ochre-red earth, azure seas, pine-clad hills and laden lemon groves inspiring an optimistic palette and flooding the collection with an uplifting energy.
Interrupting the punchier hues, a series of minimalist styles cut from pure white poplin mirror the stark simplicity of Ibiza’s traditional white-washed architecture.
Elsewhere, woven stripes of varying scales bring rich texture. Ideal for covering up on the beach, a new Italian striped seersucker fizzes with zingy citrus bands, whilst fine rainbow stripes emphasise the clean lines of the exquisitely tailored Paige Jumpsuit.
Reminiscent of the rustic wood beams that prop-up boho beach shacks, an orange stripe has been carefully woven into cool white linen in a sequence of relaxed silhouettes, perfect for quiet weekends in the city.
Kaftans, wide-leg trousers, wrap tops, T-shirts, bikinis, skirts and shorts are presented as a pick and mix array; designed to be twinned or artfully clashed and enabling the wearer to style the collection to suit her every winter sun wardrobe need.
